What it is

Two parts that work together: the eWeighBar load bars, and the iLivestock app on your phone or tablet.

Sit the bars under a crate or race and you get a quick, accurate weight every time - a single store lamb or the heaviest bull, the same kit handles both. Scan the animal’s EID tag and the app knows which one is on the bars and saves the weight straight to its record. No scribbling figures on your arm and typing them up after.

It works offline in the shed where there’s no signal, keeps the history for every animal, and shows you the numbers that matter - average weight and daily liveweight gain, and how the whole group is doing. It also talks to the EID readers and weigh gear most farms already run (Allflex, Gallagher, Shearwell, Tru-Test), so it should slot in with what you’ve got.

Why weigh?

You can’t manage what you don’t measure. Weigh regularly and you can see which cattle are on track for finishing, draw sheep for market at the right weight instead of guessing, and pick out the ones falling behind before they cost you. It takes the eyeballing out of feeding and selling decisions - and getting stock away at the right weight is money in the bank.

Where it fits

The bars cover everything from sheep up to the heaviest cattle, and drop straight into a handling setup - so if you’re already running Ritchie or Bateman gear from us, this pairs up with it nicely. Weaning, finishing, or just keeping an eye on growth through the winter, it earns its keep.
