Energy, protein and minerals for mixed grazing - with 5% magnesium for early lactation.

Crystalyx Standard is the ideal tub for a mixed grazing system, giving stock high levels of energy and a good source of protein alongside vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It suits livestock on poorer or variable grazing - uplands, moorland or marsh.

With 5% magnesium, Standard is a valuable and palatable source of magnesium for beef cows and ewes in early lactation, helping guard against grass staggers (hypomagnesaemia). Research at Newcastle University confirmed that Crystalyx increases both the rate and extent of forage digestion, with the biggest gains on poorer-quality forage.

Feeding guide

• Two 80 kg tubs per 50 cattle or 100 sheep
• Two 22.5 kg tubs per 20 cattle or 40 sheep
• Always put out at least two tubs per group to stop bullying
• Typical intake: 150-250 g per cow per day, 40-60 g per ewe per day
