Bateman Sheep Handling Trailer
The Bateman Sheep Handling Trailer is a complete handling system that travels on its own road trailer, so a full set of pens can be moved between holdings or out to an away field and set up without a permanent installation. It is built to handle up to 250 sheep.
The axle is removable using a hydraulic hand pump. That is what separates it from a trailer you simply work off: the system is lowered to ground level, so sheep flow straight in and out without a ramp, and one person can set it down and lift it again without a second pair of hands.
Panels are corrosion-resistant polypropylene, and the floor is easy-clean chequer plate - both chosen for washing down between jobs rather than for looks.
