Snacker Animal Feeder

Trailed snacker for feeding stock in the field - drops a measured amount of feed as you drive.

The CLH Snacker is a trailed feeder for putting concentrate out to stock in the field. Towed behind a quad or small tractor, it drops a measured amount of feed on the ground as you drive, so cattle and sheep feed along the line rather than crowding a trough - less waste, less bullying and less bagging up by hand.

The hopper is injection-moulded from MDPE (medium-density polyethylene) on a fully galvanised chassis, and it is land driven, so there is no motor to run. The delivery is adjustable: it puts out a measure roughly every 5 ft 6 in, in three different amounts, by setting the plate in the drum. A sprung-loaded chute handle lets you start and stop feeding from the seat.
